NEWTON CHRISTIAN SCHOOL #116 BOARD POLICY Non-Discrimination Policy: It is the policy of the Newton Christian School not to discriminate on the basis of sex, race, color, or national or ethnic origin in employment practices, administrative policies, scholarships, or other school-administered programs and activities. Non-Discrimination Policy and Complaint Procedure #812: Newton Christian School admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all of the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded all students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions and athletic or other school-administered policies. If a family feels that its student has experienced discrimination, the family should report the incident to school administration, who will conduct an informal investigation. If the family is unsatisfied with the results of the school investigation, a formal complaint may be filed with the Office for Civil Rights (OCR) at the Department of Education by calling 1-800-421-3481.
