Legacy of Grace Scholarship Tuition Organization

Legacy of Grace School Tuition Organization desires to build God’s Kingdom through Christian education. Their dedicated purpose is to collect and distribute available funds in order to extend mercy to those who struggle or are unable to afford a Christian education for their children. This is in harmony with God’s will for our lives. In Micah 6:8, God tells us “to act justly and to love mercy and walk humbly with your God.”

The organization represents seven accredited Christian schools and receives voluntary cash contributions from Iowa taxpayers.  The organization then allocates those funds for tuition grants to member schools’ children.  The Legacy of Grace STO’s purpose is to assist qualified families with their tuition expenses by providing financial assistance that is based on family size and household income.  The application is available each spring and has a priority deadline of April 30.  Applications are 100% confidential and are qualified by an independent, third-party service.

Families are eligible for tuition assistance from Legacy of Grace STO if their income, as found on Line 22 of their IRS 1040 for the current tax year (Line 15 of 10401A) is not more than three times the poverty rate.  Below are the qualifying income levels.
