Newton Christian School

Training to a Higher Standard

History & Mission

Newton Christian School was started in 1957 by parents who wanted the school day to be an extension of the values their children were learning at home and church.  This parent-directed school is comprised of students from several community churches and is governed by a society-elected school board.  The school's strength lies in our common goal of serving the Lord Jesus by providing the best possible education for our children.

Vision Statement

Newton Christian School is a community of families, staff and friends working together to provide students with a loving, nurturing environment which promotes strong academic development.

Students learn by example and Bible-directed instruction to know God better.  They learn to see His sustaining hand in Creation, to honor Him and to be equipped with skill and insight for service to God and their community.

Mission Statement

Training to a higher academic, moral and spiritual standard based on Biblical principles.

It is the policy of Newton Christian School to not discriminate on the basis of sex, race, color, or national or ethnic origin, age, or physical disability in its school-administered programs and activities, employment practices, administrative policies, or scholarships.
